Post-wise vacancies and salary

Educational qualification

• All four posts require a degree from a recognised university or equivalent.

• Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible.

• The qualification must be completed by the application closing date.

Age relaxation

• General/EWS: 18–33 years.

• OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation.

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.

• Additional applicable relaxations are provided for eligible categories as per the notification.

Selection process

1. CBT Stage 1.

2. CBT Stage 2.

3. Document Verification.

4. Medical Examination.

Important update: The Computer Based Typing Skill Test has been dispensed with for Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist under this notification. However, candidates are expected to have basic computer and typing proficiency, which will be assessed after joining.

Exam pattern

Objective-type questions.

1 mark per question.

Negative marking: 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer.

Bengaluru vacancies

346 vacancies

According to Annexure B, RRB Bengaluru has 346 vacancies under CEN 06/2026, including:

• Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: 3

• Goods Train Manager: 301

• Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: 10

• Senior Clerk Cum Typist: 32

These vacancies are under the relevant South Western Railway and Rail Wheel Factory allocations.
