Candidates awaiting final degree results are not eligible.
Age relaxation
UR/EWS: 20–33 years.
OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation.
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.

Medical Examination.
Important update: The Computer Based Typing Skill Test has been dispensed with for Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist under this notification. However, candidates are expected to have basic computer and typing proficiency, which will be assessed after joining.
Exam pattern
Objective-type questions.
1 mark per question.
Negative marking: 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer.
The syllabus includes basic science, mathematics, data interpretation, logical reasoning, reading comprehension, analogy, series and coding-decoding
CBAT – Important details
Candidates up to 8 times the RRB-wise vacancies can be shortlisted for CBAT.
Minimum T-score: 42 in each test battery.
No negative marking in CBAT.
CBAT questions and answer options are available in English and Hindi.
Final merit weightage:
CBT: 70%
CBAT: 30%
Candidates must qualify in every CBAT test battery.
